Performance Videos and Concept Videos

Good/Bad Performance Video/s:

"Shut Up - Simple Plan"

This video, for me, is a good performance video mainly because of the synergy of the energy that the band has shown in the video and the energy of the song. You'll see the band's rebellious, "i don't give a sh*t about what you say" attitude which is the message of the song as well. You'll also see a pretty funny twist in the video. Just watch it.

All The Small Things - Blink 182

I'd say that this video is a good performance video because of the good technical stuff (lighting, effects, etc.) and basically, the way the band played in the video. The video's concept is quite far from what message the song really wanted to convey, but then again, it's a performance video, right?! So there, this video basically just shows the band having a good time and all that.

Bizarre Love Triangle - Frente

This is somewhat a bad performance video. I admit, the song is wonderful and has a really good meaning, which, for me, is very contradicting to how the video was done. I think the video has poor quality and is totally the opposite of the song. I mean, the song has a totally deep (or it might have been obvious) meaning and is somewhat "colorful". The video is just lacks a little bit of something to be at the same level of the song.

Good/Bad Concept Video/s:

Kiss Me - New Found Glory

This is a good concept video for me. Basically, what I liked about the whole concept thing is the setting. Listen closely to the lyrics and you'll see how the setting relates to what was said in the lyrics. Just watch the video 2-3 times and you'll see what I mean. The ending might be far from the message that the song wants to convey though.

Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off - Panic! at the Disco

Well, here's one weird video =D. This is a bad concept video. I mean, if you'll check the message that the song wants to convey, it'll show that (based on a friend's perspective) "the girl cheated on the guy." (thus explains why the title is like that) But then if you watch the video, it'll just show you some people wearing fish tanks (i know, weird, don't ask.) and then in the end, shows a boy and a girl under water doing something. The concept of the video is far from the song. (It's a good song though! :D)

Stressed Out...

Ugh. It's not like I've never been this stressed before, it's just that I'm not used to this level of stress. Because of it, I feel so confused and all that other negative, "after-work", exhausted feeling. Moreover, I'm badly in need of assistance right now. *sigh* Oh well... I guess I'd just have to adapt to this kind of lifestyle from now on. *help*...

Who knew it'd turn out well?

I just celebrated my birthday this past Wednesday. Well, at first I really felt gloomy and frustrated. First was because of the things that have been bothering me the whole term, then there,s the COMPRO2 Exercise. (I'm sorry. I'm really stupid when it comes to programming, but I'm doing my best to improve my skills, and that's a good thing, right?!) Overall, I thought this would be the worst birthday that I'd have.

Fortunately, my friends were there to cheer me up. That day would have been really, really lonely if it was'nt for them. I've been so depressed and so worked up about the things that have been bothering me that I've felt so lonely the whole term. Let's just say this day made me realize how important friends really are and how much we should cherish each moment we share with them while they are still there.

There was also this activity that we did during GENPSYC class. It was sort of an amazing race thing. It was fun, tiring, and somewhat frustrating. (Well, let's just say the activity was unexpected and we were not prepared for what we did.) Anyway, I really had a lot of fun during that day. Who knew that all those worries would be gone that easily? :D

Oh bty, I wanna say thank you to all the people that greeted me and cheered me up during that day. Thanks to the people who gave me gifts and hanged out with me and all those other stuff. (The sucky part was, I'm now 16 years old. ArgH!! >=c Oh well, these changes are inevitable anyway.. *sigh*)

Well, that's it I guess. I just wanted to let out what I feel. ^^, Take care y'aLL!

I blogged again... it's a MIRACLE!!!

Anyway, a lot of things has happened this past few weeks. First, there was the COMPRO2 First Exams. Luckily, 26 out of 30 people passed the exam! (thank you God!!! :D) Then there was the NSTP camping where some of us were awake for two straight days and then went to school despite being weary. It was fun and scary though, especially when we had those fun adventure thingies! hahaha... *sigh* It's almost my birthday! whooooPdeeedeee! hahaha...
Oh well, just wanted to do something "productive." hahaha... COMMENTS PLEASE!!! hehehe...

okay ,v,, out dudes and dudettes! cyuz next Tuesday! ^^,

Keep Moving Forward

Hahaha... I just wanted to post something about this movie. This sounds weird though. Anyway, I love this movie soooooooooooooo much! You have to watch it. It is about this boy named Lewis. He is a smart kid, an inventor, and an orphan. Well, he joins this science fair where he meets a guy named Wilbur Robinson who is from the future. There is also this villain called "the bowler hat guy" who is also from the future. The fun part starts when Lewis started to create this thing he calls a "Memory Scanner." He created this to find out more about his mom who left him at the orphanage years ago. This was also the invention that he would present in the science fair. Anyway, I'd just say that you should watch this movie. It has this somewhat twisted plot where you would find out that Wilbur Robinson is his son, that the bowler hat guy was his roommate at the orphanage named Mike Yagoobian, and much more twists and turns. Let's just say, in the end, he realized stupid he acted about his failures and all that stuff. It is a movie that I would really like to watch over and over again.

It's not just the plot that I liked about this movie. I also learned a lot of things about looking at your failures in a different perspective. Watching this movie gave me more confidence about what I would do in my life. I also learned about letting go of all the worries and doubts you had in your past experiences and "keep moving forward." That is the main quote, a quote from Walt Disney, that I liked about the movie. Three simple words that could mean a lot, depending on how a person understands it. For me, it is somewhat a motivating quote that encourages you to strive hard and do your best to achieve your goals in life. It gives me more courage to face each day with a positive outlook and to face any obstacle that I would encounter. I'd just do what the movie said: "Keep moving forward"

/* I'm sorry if the thought is all messed up... Just wanted to write something about the movie... hahaha... :D */

Oh my gosh!!! Finally!!!

I've been waiting for ... uhmm... a month, i guess.. and now, I finally have connection! haha...
Well anyway, today was just really, really tiring and strenuous. I really need to rest and all that. Just felt like exhausting what i felt here.... Don't mind this post... hahaha... take care peepz! c:
